Sridet Downline

SRIDET Downline has been developed for providing accurate and reliable down the hole delay in the blast. This consists of a coil of shock tube, a Delay Detonators and a suitable connector. The Connector will be on one side. The end of the coil is sealed to arrest ingress of water. The other end of the coil is crimped to a Delay Detonator with a suitable rubber plug. The Detonator will be inserted into the explosive cartridge or into a Cast booster and will be lowered into the borehole. The other end of the coil is connected in the blast circuit with the help of the connector.

SRIDET Dowline is available in different delay timings viz. 200ms, 250ms, 350ms, 400ms, and 450ms. (As per Customer requirement). The Delay time stickers are attached to the coil to find out the downline delay. The coil will have two stickers indicating the length of the coil. SRIDET Downline is available from 2 meters to 50 meters (As per the customer's request).

Advantages:

• True point bottom initiation is being done in the blast
• Due to true bottom initiation, all the explosive energy will be utilized for breaking the rock. Because of this, air blast noise is minimized.
• Good fragmentation.
• Less ground vibrations.
• Good muck pile profile.
• Since the explosive shock wave is confined to the shock tube, no pressure desensitization of explosive. Hence 100% calculated energy is available for rock blasting.
• This can be used either with Cartridge Explosives, ANFO or with Cast Boosters.
• The superior qualities of shock tube makes it insensitive to the oil in the explosives, thus providing good sleeping time in the borehole.
