Emulsion explosives are oil in water type of Emulsion mixtures which constitute Oxidisers and Carbon-based fuels. These water-resistant blast explosives are much more effective than slurry explosives. The high velocity of detonation included with high strength; high rate of reaction gives a high probability of leading to high rate of brisance (High range of fragmentation) and they are mostly used in the areas where most amount of stress and pressure are required.

Ammonium Nitrate emulsions are widely used in commercial explosives and mining industry, it is commonly mixed with fuel oil to make the prominent commercial explosive. Ammonium nitrate emulsions are the main constituents of emulsion explosives and are mainly utilized in mining, quarrying, and construction works, as the main part of their blasting work. These explosives have several advantages and are widely used due to their high safety handling, insensitivity to temperature change, high detonation rate, and their low basic cost and are manufactured and supplied either in bulk form or in packaged form. Our Bulk emulsion explosives detonate with a higher velocity of detonation (VOD) than the Ammonium nitrate cartridge and ammonium nitrate /fuel oil (ANFO) under the same consistent. Bulk emulsion explosives are an emulsified ammonium nitrate solution incorporating a fuel phase and are used as an oxidizing agent in transportation as Bulk emulsion explosives do not become an explosive until it is sensitized or detonate with a higher velocity point of delivery or mixed with gassing agents.
